The Upcoming Elections.

As we enter the year 2020, a very important Presidential Election is coming on Nov. 3rd, of this year. It’s very important for us Christians to vote. This country is very much in conflict and the beliefs that this country was founded on have been shaken. We Christians need to voice our opinion and not be part of the silent majority. There’s a lot of confusion on who or what to vote for. What party platforms that supports Christian values . So today I would like to take a look at some of the parties platforms and not the individuals who are running. To be nominated for an office, you agree with your party’s platform and support it.
Where do the Democrats and Republicans stand on issues such as abortion, freedom of Speech, gay rights, the Second Amendment (right to own arms), and immigration just to name a few. In a short overview, The Democratic party believes in big government. The Federal government should have control of health programs, schools, guns, welfare and other major programs. The Republican Party believes in a smaller federal government and more local control of most programs. In the chart below I will compare some of the major party platforms differences.

Believes in protecting our country with closed borders. Believes immigration should be done lawfully. That illegal aliens in United States should be deported. |
Believes that any person speaking Publicly against a minority group is considered a hate crime and could be arrested. As stated in the recent Human Rights Amendment. For example a church Pastor, saying Gay marriage is wrong could be arrested. |
Freedom of Speech |
Supports Freedom of Speech. Did not support the recent Human rights Amendment that was later defeated. |
Believes in making it easier to vote. Proper identification does not have to include a photo ID to vote. |
Voting rights |
Believes that each voter should properly identify themselves with a photo ID. This is to protect against voter fraud. |
