When you die, don’t worry about your body… Your relatives and funeral staff will take care of it. I know this for sure, I’ve been there… and done that.
They will take you out of the house and deliver you to the funeral home of your family’s choice. They will take off your clothes… They will wash you… They will dress you up… They will even apply makeup to make you look presentable…
Many will come to the funeral to honor you… Some will even cancel their plans and ask for time off to go to the funeral…
Your things… you know the ones you hate to loan out will be sold, donated or trashed. Your keys… Your tools… Your books… Your CDs, DVDs & games… All of your collections… Your clothes… Everything you had will now belong to someone else or be in the trash.
The world isn’t going to stop to cry for you. For most people it’s just another day and It’s business as normal. You will be replaced at work. Someone with the same or even better ability will take your place.
All of the things you have done in your life will be remembered, and then judged, doubted and criticized. People who were acquaintances will say… ′′Poor thing what a tragedy!” Your good friends will cry for a few hours or several days, but then they will return to their normal busy life again. After a few weeks your pets will get used to their new owner.
Your pictures will be hanging on the wall for a while, then they will be finally stored at the bottom of a box. Deep pain in your home will last a year, two, maybe more… But after a while you will join others that have past as memories and then your story will end.
You cannot bring your earthly possessions to the hereafter. You will leave behind the beauty of your body, last name, property, loans, working position, bank account, your house, the car, academic titles, classmates, trophies, friends, your spouse, the kids and grandkids, and your family. Everything you had on this earth gone in an instant. Truely it’s the End of the World for you.
Now that your world has ended… your life begins in a new reality. In this new reality or new eternal life, the things that we loved and held dear to us in this world will start losing their value and meaning.
This new life is for an eternity. Death, at least as we know it, doesn’t exist. But here’s the secret… The time to prepare for our next eternal life… is Now. The first thing you’ll need to do is determine where you want to spend it. It’s our choice.
We have two choices, Heaven and the other is Hell. We make our choice where we want to spend eternity while here on earth. Heaven – a place of paradise, love and God, OR Hell a place of suffering, torment and Satan. I think most of us would prefer Heaven.
John 3:18 explains in the simplest terms who will go to heaven and who will go to hell: “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” So, those who go to hell are specifically those who do not believe in Jesus.
In John 14:6 Jesus said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Only through Jesus are we able to get to Heaven.
When you receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, by grace (a Gift from God) and through faith, (your belief) then you will spend eternity in heaven. On the other hand, if you refuse Jesus Christ as your Savior, you will be eternally separated from God in a place called Hell.
God’s love for us is found in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life“.
Jesus died on the cross as payment for our sins. You can accept this free gift from God, or we can choose to pay for our sins by spending an eternity in pain and suffering in Hell. That is eternal death. All we have to do is except Jesus’ payment for our sin. Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord“.
This may be your last day on earth so now is the time to make your choice. Do you choose Heaven or Hell? Remember this… all the people who dies today has plans for tomorrow, just like you do Please take the time now and pray…tomorrow maybe too late.
Tell God you believe His Son Jesus paid for your sins and arose from the grave. Tell God you are sorry and want to start Living for Him. He will forgive your sins and mistakes and give you Everlasting Life with Him… and place His Spirit deep within your heart. In 1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” and in Romans 10:9 tells us, ”that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;“
