Merry Christmas

As this years Christmas Season is winding down, have you really taken the time to think about what it means to you? We are so busy with all that’s going on… The shopping, Christmas plays, caroling, cooking, traveling, seeing Santa, decorating, Parties, just to mention a few. Maybe you are worried about money and buying presents… or could it be your mind is on a soldier serving overseas… or a loved one that’s passed away.  Satan uses many distractions to keep us from thinking about the real meaning of Christmas.

On this Christmas Day, let us pause and think about the greatest gift of all. God gave his only son to us, the world, so that we may have it ever lasting life. In John 3:16 the Bible tells us, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”

Think about God becoming Human. Jesus had many of the same challenges as we do today. Remember He was part Human! You might say “ but He was also part God” Think about it… When we accept Jesus Christ has savior, God comes into your heart and you have God inside of you. You have been adopted to a Heavenly family and now a Brother or Sister of Jesus.

Today is Christmas, Will you take a moment and thank God for the Best Christmas Present ever! This present is free… you only have to ask for it.
