Cruising…

Magnificent Promises

Today I would like to talk about cruising. One of the nicest vacations or get-away a person can have is going on a cruise. This experience provides everything for you. Your room, food and entertainment. And then they take you to great destinations.  Everything is on autopilot.

Our churches have been our spiritual cruise ship for many years. It has been providing everything we need spiritually. This year things have changed. The church has been attacked by Covid 19. It’s no longer a spiritual cruise ship. We have taken for granted the things we received from our church. Such as assembling together, prayer, revivals, Christian fellowship and music just to name a few.

It’s time for our churches to become a spiritual battleship. Please understand that a church is not a building, but it is the Christans that attend there. It’s time we put on the Armor Of God and prepare for spiritual battle. Ephesians 6:10-12 tells us “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Prepare for battle… It’s bad right now but it’s going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

Yes we’ve been on a cruise ship here in the USA. We have had it easy compared to other places in the world. Our church has provided most of our spiritual needs. Are you prepared for battle?

We are told to put the Whole Armor of God on. Ephesians 6:13-17 tells us “Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand firm therefore, having belted your waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having strapped on your feet the preparation of the gospel of peace; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”

I ask you again… Are you ready for Battle? This all starts with a relationship with God. How is your relationship with God? Is it good? Or maybe you have lost fellowship with Him or maybe never known a fellowship with God.

The Battle is here and the Time is short! We all are standing at the door to eternity. There is no better time than the present to start a fellowship with God or renew your faith with Him. Just take a moment now and dedicate yourself to Christ Our Savior. Please… if you don’t know Christ or have fallen away please pray… Tell God you believe His Son Jesus paid for your sins and rose again. Tell God you are sorry and want to start Living for Him. He will forgive your sins and mistakes and give you Everlasting Life with Him… and place His Spirit deep within your heart. In 1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Please remember that no matter how bad the Battle gets, God will win the war!

I pray that God will truly Help and Bless you. If you would like for me to pray with you, please email me at Bob.L@magnificentPromises.com.
