This Presidential Election is probably the most important election this country has ever had. Both Republican and Democratic parties are totally on different sides of the fence. As a Christian, we need to look at each parties platform and vote accordingly.
We need to forget about the person… and vote on the Christian principles found in the Bible. I have heard people say… I will not vote for that person because I don’t like him. My friends… Please look at the platform of both parties. Vote for the Platform and not the person. The job of President shouldn’t be a popularity contest.
As Christians we will one day stand before God and be held accountable for the things we have done here on earth. This election, based on the parties platforms comes down to this. One of the parties platform is based on supporting evil and the other on some of the basic bible principals. We are essentially voting for Good (God) or evil (Satan). Knowing this, Just remember you are accountable for how you vote.
I also want you to be aware that if you don’t vote you are still accountable to God. I even heard people say that they will right in a vote or leave some blanks on the election ballot. I don’t want to stand in front of God and explain why I didn’t vote. It’s time for us Christians to stand up for God’s principles and be counted. Voting is not only a Patriotic duty, but it’s also expected by God.
This Country is very divided right now. Even our politicians are just trying to destroy each other and their parties. How can their be so much hatred between these two parties? The only way that America will fall is to divide its people. Hatred is one way to divide. You’ve heard the saying divide and conquer. Even Jesus said in Matthew 12:25 “Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and any city or house divided against itself will not stand.”(NASB)
The United States of America is in trouble! Christians is time to stand up and make your voice heard. Earlier I said, We are essentially voting for Good (God) or evil (Satan). Who are you going to vote for? Please don’t throw away your vote and the opportunity to speak up for God. In Matthew 10:32-33 Jesus tells us “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.”
Please my friend, Pray and Meditate on your vote. Ask God who to vote for in November. But remember this, “For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written: “As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God.” (Romans 14:-10-12) We all are accountable for what we do or not do.
