My Forever home…

This week, as I was watching our local news there was a story about pet adoptions. This story was all about find the pets a “forever home”. Then I thought about my adoption and my forever home. That is my home in heaven with God. It’s a place of eternal peace and joy, where every tear is wiped away and there is no more pain or sorrow. It’s the place where I will spend the rest of eternity, surrounded by loved ones and basking in the glory of God’s presence.

The thought of moving day excites me, as I know that I will be moving from this earthly dwelling to my eternal home. This is the ultimate relocation, a journey that will take me from the temporal to the eternal. There will be no need to pack up boxes or hire a moving truck, for God will transport me in the twinkling of an eye.

The concept of adoption is a beautiful picture of what God has done for us. As believers, we have been adopted into God’s family, and we are now His sons and daughters. Galatians 4:4-7 tells us, “But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.  And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” Therefore, you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.” This means that we have been chosen and loved by God, and we now have all the rights and privileges of being a child of God.

I’ve been adopted by God even though I was in Satan’s family at one time.  I’m no longer condemned because of my family ties.  I am part of God’s family now.

The contrast between Heaven and hell is stark. While Heaven is a place of eternal joy and peace, hell is a place of eternal torment and separation from God. It’s a place of darkness and despair, where the worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.

The thought of spending eternity in hell is terrifying, which is why it’s so important that we choose to follow Jesus and accept His gift of salvation. He has paid the price for our sins, and by putting our faith in Him, we can be assured of eternal life with God in Heaven.

In conclusion, my forever home is in Heaven, with God. Moving day will be the ultimate relocation, as I am transported from this earthly dwelling to my eternal home. I am grateful to have been adopted into God’s family and look forward to moving.

Here’s my question to you… Have you been searching for your forever home? The place where you can find peace and joy and satisfaction forever. You can search the earth, but there is nothing on this earth satisfies your longing.  Some will try the worldly idols of alcohol, drugs, sex, and money., but nothing will help.

There is only one thing that will satisfy… that is to be adopted into God’s family. That starts with a relationship with Him. So, how is your relationship with God? Maybe you never had a relationship with God, or maybe you have fallen away from God and need to renew your relationship. None of us know how much time we have left on this earth. For some, this may be your last day on earth.  So, now is the time to get right with God.  Please take the time now and pray…tomorrow maybe too late.

Tell God you believe His Son Jesus paid for your sins and arose from the grave. Tell God you are sorry and want to start Living for Him. He will forgive your sins and mistakes and give you Everlasting Life with Him… and place His Spirit deep within your heart. In 1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” and in Romans 10:9 tells us, ”that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;

I pray that God will Bless and Keep!!!
