Our Father….

Magnificent Promises

Father’s Day is next Sunday June 21th. We customarily honor our Dad’s with a gift, maybe a meal and spending time with them. For some of us it’s a day to remember our Fathers that have passed away. Let’s talk a little about Fathers.

As for Fathers, It’s a day we take pride in our children and what they have accomplished in their lives.’ Also to show our love for them.

As for an adopted Dad and Stepfathers, It’s also a day to celebrate your love for a adopted or stepchild, just as a biological father would.

Finally Our Heavenly Father… We are children of God. We have been adopted into the family.   In John 1:12 we find this verse “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:” Have you ever really thought about being adopted into God’s Family.  In Galatians 3:26 “For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.”

My question to you…  Are you are a son or daughter of God?  Do you know your Father?   Have you turn away from God? Did you once have a good relationship with God and it’s not as good now? Please take the first steps to make your relationship with your Father in heaven better. That is to ask Jesus Christ into and/or renew and refresh your heart.  1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Asking God to be Your Father is only a prayer away.  It’s free, It’s easy! Just ask God to forgive you and to come into your life.  Happy Fathers Day. May God Bless you and your family!
