With Independence Day being a little over a week away, I would like to speak a little on the Great country we live in. Independence Day, celebrated on July 4th, commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence in 1776, marking the nation’s separation from British rule. It’s a federal holiday with festivities like fireworks, parades, and barbecues, symbolizing American freedom and unity. The day celebrates the birth of the United States as an independent nation. But there is trouble in America today! We are being attacked daily. America’s values are being destroyed! Our government is taking away our rights and freedoms. Unless things change, we will see the fall of this great country.
This country will never fall from the outside. Any attack from another country would cause America to unite and generate tons of patriotism. Look at the attack on the World Trade Center and how this country stepped up to the plate. Again, I say to you…. America will never fall from outside attacks!
Today, the attacks come from inside our country and many are already here. Some of our enemies have already been elected to political office, some are advocates trying to change our country, and others are irritants. Let’s look at each of these.
Elected to office – Today we have a Muslin Congress woman that calls the 911 attack on the World Trade Center a NON terrorist attack. She says it was just a group of guys doing their own thing and claiming it was not an organized attack. Remember the Koran instructs its followers to behead any non-believers that do not change to their beliefs after asking them three times to change. This country’s enemies are being elected and infiltrating our government with a goal to take over this nation.
Advocates for change – This is a tricky area. Some changes are good and then some sound great on the surface but are actually very bad. Here’s where our rights are being taken away. A few years ago, the H.R.5 Equality Act passed in the house and was sent to Congress. It was being billed as equal rights for women. The law for equal rights for ALL is already on the books and is law. What is not being told about this amendment is, if you speak of, or say against homosexual relationships because you feel it’s wrong and against your belief, you could be arrested. This is taking away our religious freedoms. To me, it kind of sounds like a Communist statement.
The final group I call the irritants. This group of people cause trouble and friction in America. This group tries to stir up trouble. It could be about Race, Borders, Police, Church, and anything that will cause people to get mad to the point of rage. Please note I said to the point of rage. It has always amazed me that the immigrants fleeing from the oppression of their home country want to change this country into the country they fled from.
This Country is very divided right now. Even our politicians are out to prove a point and NOT to help this country. They just want to bring the other party down. The only way that America will fall is to divide its people. You’ve heard the saying divide and conquer. Jesus said in Matthew 12:25“Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and any city or house divided against itself will not stand.”(NASB)
In closing I want to wish everyone a Great 4th of July. Please join me in prayer for our country, that we will turn back to God and the fundamentals that made this country Great!
