Merry Christmas 2025…

Wow… today is Christmas Eve. Hopefully, all the shopping is done, with just a few last-minute tasks to handle before the big day. It’s time to hang the stockings and make some treats for sharing with friends and family on Christmas.

As the Christmas season comes to a close, it’s worth taking a moment to reflect on what it truly means to you. We often get caught up in the hustle and bustle—shopping, holiday plays, caroling, cooking, traveling, visiting Santa, decorating, and attending parties, just to name a few. Maybe financial worries or the thought of buying gifts weigh on your mind, or perhaps you’re thinking of a soldier serving far from home or a loved one who’s no longer here. There are countless distractions that can pull our focus away from the true meaning of Christmas.

This Christmas, let’s take a moment to reflect on the greatest gift of all—God giving His only Son so we could have everlasting life. As John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Think about this—God came as a human. Jesus left Paradise to come to earth, not born in a palace or as royalty, but as an underprivileged baby by today’s standards. He faced many of the same challenges we do now, tempted by Satan and offered all this world has to give. Yet, He was God in a human body, needing food and water, feeling pain, and even weeping. Because He walked this earth, He understands every challenge we face. The greatest part is that He’s here to help us overcome—not remove—those challenges.

When we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, God enters our hearts and lives within us. We become part of His heavenly family and are now brothers and sisters in Christ.

Here’s a question to consider: Have you accepted the greatest gift of all—the free gift of eternal life from God? Do you have a relationship with Him, or have you drifted away? Don’t wait until it’s too late. There’s no better time than right now to begin or renew your connection with God.

Again, please… if you don’t know Christ or have fallen away, please pray… Tell God you believe His Son Jesus paid for your sins and rose again. Tell God you are sorry and want to start Living for Him. He will forgive your sins and mistakes and give you Everlasting Life with Him… and place His Spirit deep within your heart. In 1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

This Christmas, take a moment to thank God for the best gift ever. May His blessings and help be with you throughout this joyful season.
